Emily Tobin LaVoy is a website dedicated to showcasing and selling the artwork of Emily Tobin LaVoy. The site also functions as the blog of Emily Tobin LaVoy which provides free information and opinions. The website is hosted by WIX and I use WIX and Affirm to process payments on purchases. My email list is hosted by WIX.

Email List
If you opt in to a newsletter your name and email address is saved by WIX. You may unsubscribe at any time by clicking the "unsubscribe" button at the bottom of the email.
Use Of Content
You may share blog posts, newsletters, and social media content with friends and family as long as you credit Emily Tobin LaVoy when doing so.
Images, Videos, and Intellectual Content are the property of Emily Tobin LaVoy and may not be used in any publication without written consent.
Purchases
When a purchase is made, the information needed to fulfill your purchase will be collected by WIX and/or Affirm and used by me to communicate with you about your purchase and deliver it to you.

I will not have access to your credit card information at any time. I will not share the information I need to deliver your purchase with anyone unless it is necessary to fulfill a purchase.
Other Use Of Information
If you email me with a question about a commission, technique, or anything else I will probably keep that email unless you request that I delete it. I value your privacy and your trust and will not share your information other than what may be necessary to fulfill a purchase.
Return Policies
Please find the appropriate product below as policies differ.

Textile, Fiber, Sculpture, Painting, Drawing and any other mediums will be referred to as "Artwork" in this return policy unless otherwise specified.

Original Non-Commissioned Artwork: If you are unhappy with your purchase, please return the artwork or sculpture within 7 days in its original packaging and in undamaged condition. A refund will be issued upon receipt of undamaged original condition artwork or sculpture minus the shipping, packing, and insurance costs. If artwork is returned damaged or not in original condition, a refund will not be issued and you will be responsible for shipping, packing, and insurance if you wish it sent back to you.

Commissioned Artwork: No refunds or exchanges will be allowed for commissioned artwork.

Digital Art or Downloads: No refunds or exchanges will be allowed for digital art or downloads.
Shipping Policy
Cost Of Shipping:
At this time I only ship within the U.S. unless specific arrangements are made. If you are an international collector please contact me at support@emilytobinlavoy.com to arrange purchase and shipping.
The cost of standard shipping within the US with insurance via USPS is included in the cost of all products unless otherwise specified within the product listing. If the collector wishes for a different method of shipping, arrangements will need to be made directly by contacting me at support@emilytobinlavoy.com in advance. The collector will be responsible for paying shipping costs if another method is arranged.

Shipping Days: Orders will be shipped on the first Monday or Thursday after an order is placed unless the collector arranges a different shipping day directly with me. If the first Monday or Thursday following an order placement is a federal holiday, the product will be shipped the next day the postal service is open.

Tracking: Upon shipment, I will provide the collector with tracking information for their order.
Lost Packages: If the shipment is not delivered after 15 days, I will file an insurance claim with the USPS. USPS requires you to wait 15 days to file this claim. If the package is lost, USPS will perform a Missing Mail Search before paying out the claim. If USPS finds the item, it will be delivered to you and USPS will not pay the insurance claim and no refund will be issued. If the item is not found, USPS will pay the insurance claim and a refund will be issued at that time. I understand this is inconvenient and I regret it very much. It is necessary to insure that I do not send out a refund without first making sure the artwork is irrevocably lost. I will keep the collector informed throughout the entire process.

Damaged Packages: If you receive your package and the product has been damaged in the mail, DO NOT SEND IT BACK! USPS will not pay an insurance claim if the product is put back in the mail and no refund will be issued. Please inform me immediately via email at support@emilytobinlavoy.com or by calling 906.458.3820. Take well lit photos of the outside of the package and the damaged contents and send them to me. I will file a claim with USPS. USPS may send someone to inspect or collect the package or require you to bring the package to a nearby post office for inspection or collection. In order to have the insurance claim approved and a refund issued, the collector will need to comply with all requests from USPS to verify the claim. Once the insurance claim is paid, a refund will be issued. I understand waiting for a refund is inconvenient but it is necessary to insure that I do not send a refund without making certain the artwork is irrevocably destroyed. I will keep the collector informed throughout the entire process.
